Andrew Albert, MD

I graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix in 2018 and subsequently moved to Philadelphia to complete Emergency Medicine residency training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. I completed a chief resident year during which my focus was on improving emergency department operations at our facilities. During my time at the University of Pennsylvania, I also played a pivotal role in our institution's transition to the use of a new laboratory test (high-sensitivity troponin) that allowed us to more rapidly and accurately diagnosis heart attacks. 

I see patients primarily in the emergency department at NYU Langone Brooklyn. I strive to provide prompt, accurate and compassionate care to all patients I see in our emergency departments. My interests outside of clinical emergency medicine include resident and undergraduate medical education, emergency department operations, and improving emergency cardiac care.
