Gloria Lee, MD

My path into medicine was inspired by a deep desire to help those in need. From a young age, I was naturally drawn to understanding and empathizing with others. This passion for human connection led me to psychiatry, where I could unite my natural abilities with my professional goals.

Throughout my career, I have always believed in the importance of collaborative care. At NYU Langone, I work closely with nurses, creative arts therapists, chaplains, and other medical specialists to ensure that our patients receive a comprehensive treatment plan that promotes both immediate and long-term stability.

I have a particular interest in treating psychotic and mood disorders, with an emphasis on immediate stabilization. My role in the inpatient psychiatry unit at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn allows me to support patients during their most vulnerable times, guiding them towards stability and wellbeing. My fluency in Mandarin enhances my ability to connect with a diverse range of patients.
