As a sleep specialist at NYU Langone Sleep Medicine Associates–Garden City, I am dedicated to enhancing the overall wellbeing of my patients through restorative sleep. I believe that patients are unique, and I am passionate about understanding their individual backgrounds and health challenges. My role allows me to address a growing field that is intricately connected to various medical and cardiac conditions, emphasizing the importance of quality sleep for optimal brain and body function.

I specialize in diagnosing and treating patients with a wide range of sleep disturbances, including breathing disorders such as snoring/obstructive sleep apnea and other sleep-related breathing issues. Additionally, I help patients who struggle with insomnia (difficulty falling asleep), restless leg syndrome, circadian rhythm disorders, and excessive daytime sleepiness conditions such as narcolepsy. We also manage abnormal sleep behaviors such as sleep talking, sleepwalking, nightmares, night terrors, and rapid eye movement (REM) sleep behavior disorder.

With more than a decade of experience in sleep medicine, I am committed to proactive healthcare engagement. I believe that an educated patient makes informed decisions, and I strive to build trust and rapport by spending time with my patients, explaining diagnoses, consequences, and treatment options. This collaborative approach ensures that my patients feel knowledgeable and empowered to make the best choices for their health.

Throughout my career, I have focused on providing a comprehensive approach to sleep care. At our Garden City sleep center, we perform both in-lab and home sleep studies. I work closely with ear, nose, throat, and mouth (ENT) surgeons and specialists in dentistry, psychiatry, endocrinology, and neurology when needed. We offer treatments such as continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP)/bilevel positive airway pressure (BIPAP) therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for insomnia, weight loss education, and medication management for conditions like insomnia and narcolepsy. My motto, “sleep well, live well,” reflects my dedication to improving my patients' sleep and overall wellbeing.
