As a psychiatrist specializing in consultation-liaison psychiatry, I recognize the complexity at the intersection of mental and physical health. My passion lies in providing comprehensive care by combining my expertise in medication management with a deep commitment to psychotherapy. As a trained psychoanalyst, I can explore the intricate narratives that shape each patient’s experience.

My approach is rooted in collaboration, not only with patients, but also with other medical specialties. I believe coordinated care is essential for effective treatment. In my hospital-based work, I actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address all aspects of a patient’s health. This teamwork leads to a deeper understanding of the challenges patients face and provides meaningful insights into their experiences.

I strive to create an environment in which patients feel respected and understood. Through our work together, I encourage patients to make informed decisions about their treatment, whether that involves medication, therapy, or both.

In addition to my work with patients who are medically ill, I find great satisfaction in working with young adults undergoing life transitions, drawing on my prior experience as a staff psychiatrist at a university mental health service.
