As a psychiatrist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care to my patients. I have always been fascinated by the complexities of the human mind, and psychiatry allows me to engage deeply with patients, helping them navigate their mental health challenges. I find immense satisfaction in seeing patients who come to the hospital very sick leave stable and able to enjoy life again. Treating patients with dignity and respect is at the core of my practice.

I specialize in treating mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders, as well as drug use disorders. I have honed my skills in managing these conditions, ensuring that each patient receives tailored treatment based on the latest medical evidence. My commitment to providing care is reflected in my multidisciplinary approach, working alongside social workers, art therapists, nurses, and patient care technicians to provide comprehensive support.

Throughout my career, I have been involved in various aspects of psychiatric care, from direct patient treatment to participating in research studies. For instance, I have referred patients for clozapine research studies, which have shown promising results in managing treatment-resistant schizophrenia. This proactive engagement in research underscores my dedication to advancing mental healthcare and improving patient outcomes.

My journey into medicine began at the age of five, driven by a dream to become a physician. Psychiatry, with its unique challenges and rewards, captivated me and solidified my career path.
