Allison Becker, MD

As a pediatric emergency physician at NYU Langone, I specialize in treating children with urgent medical conditions. My passion lies in helping children from all backgrounds and experiences. The expertise I have gained from working with diverse families enables me to address any emergency condition a child or their family may face.

Throughout my career, I have focused on addressing health disparities and striving to make pediatric care more equitable. By working in health equity and screening for social determinants of health, my goal is to provide excellent medical care for all children and to guide them and their families to any additional care they may need.

In addition to my clinical work, I also have a passion for both patient and provider education. My aim is to create an environment where learners and medical staff feel supported and knowledgeable, and where patients and their families feel comfortable asking questions to fully understand their treatment options. At NYU Langone, I am proud to be part of a team that shares my commitment to coordinated, seamless care, ensuring that every child receives the comprehensive support they need.
