As a pediatric emergency medicine specialist at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of children and their families during their most vulnerable moments. The dynamic and high-stakes environment of emergency medicine, combined with my love for working with children, allows me to address urgent and often complex medical issues in a way that significantly impacts young patients and their families.

My role as the director of pediatric resident emergency medicine education at NYU Langone enables me to oversee the training of our pediatric residents, preparing them to manage a wide variety of pediatric emergency conditions and become future leaders in our field. I specialize in treating a broad range of conditions, from acute illnesses and injuries to chronic exacerbations and complex emergencies. My expertise includes managing respiratory distress, trauma, infections, and surgical emergencies in children and adolescents, ranging from newborns to teenagers.

With advanced training in pediatric trauma management, I perform critical procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, and emergency stabilization for critically ill patients. My commitment to medicine and empathetic care ensures that each child receives personalized and thorough treatment.

My work centers on providing urgent, compassionate care and fostering strong partnerships with patients and their families. This dedication to patient engagement and responsiveness ensures a positive patient experience and the best possible outcomes for every child. My journey into medicine began with a passion for making a difference during critical moments. A pivotal experience during my residency, where I treated a young child with a severe allergic reaction, solidified my commitment to pediatric emergency medicine. Witnessing the relief on the parents’ faces after stabilizing their child was incredibly rewarding and reinforced my dedication to this field.
