About Me
As a gastroenterologist at NYU Langone Laurelton Medical, I treat patients with a diverse spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), dyspepsia, gastroparesis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and eosinophilic esophagitis. I conduct endoscopic procedures, always ensuring my techniques align with the particular needs of each patient.
Building trust and rapport with patients is foundational to my approach; I achieve this through active listening, clear communication, and delivering compassionate care tailored to each individual's unique needs and concerns.
As a third-generation medical doctor, I have always felt a profound pull towards a career in which my passion for science intertwines with a deep commitment to improving lives through hands-on care. After completing my fellowship in internal medicine, I chose to specialize in gastroenterology, which offers a captivating balance between diagnostic complexity and procedural expertise.
Throughout my career, I have been honored with several prestigious awards, including a proclamation from the New York City Council recognizing my outstanding contributions to medical literature and multiple review publications. I also received the Scopy Award from the American College of Gastroenterology for my work in colon cancer screening and prevention, and the Humanitarian Award from Fondation Coeur Oreilles Main Pour Haรฏti. These accolades affirm my commitment to clinical excellence, humanitarian service, compassion, and community involvement.
I want patients to understand they donโt need to silently endure gastrointestinal issues. The symptoms are real and solutions exist. Our team takes pride in offering highly personalized care. Our approach is holistic. We look beyond test results to grasp how conditions affect daily life, and continually advance our practice through the latest tools, techniques, and research, to empower patients with answers that guide them towards living healthier, more enriched lives.
