As an emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing high-quality care in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the emergency department. My diverse background has instilled in me a passion for teamwork and adaptability, which are essential in emergency medicine. I thrive on the ever-changing nature of emergency care and the opportunity to make a significant impact on my patients’ lives.
I am board-certified in emergency medicine and have extensive experience managing acute and complex cases in both community and urban settings. This breadth of experience has equipped me with a robust skill set, allowing me to deliver exceptional care in any situation. In 2023, I was honored to receive the “Clinical Attending of the Year” award from the residents at Bellevue and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Society during my medical residency. These accolades reflect my commitment to excellence and compassionate care.
Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement, emphasizing the importance of patient education and responsiveness. I believe in fostering strong partnerships with my patients and their families, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their care journey.
My journey into medicine began with a diverse educational background. I was born in Germany, grew up in England, completed my undergraduate studies in Ireland, and pursued my medical training in New York City. This international experience has given me a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for the diverse patient population I serve. Research My Research
Research Summary
I was born in Germany and raised in England, completed my undergraduate studies in Ireland, and pursued my medical training in New York City. This diverse background, coupled with my love for team sports, particularly rugby and soccer, is what drew me to Emergency Medicine. The ever changing and dynamic nature of emergency care coupled with the teamwork that is required is what I thrive on.
I am board-certified in Emergency Medicine and have had the privilege of working in both community and urban settings. These experiences has equipped me with a robust skill set for managing acute and complex cases, ensuring that I deliver high-quality care in any situation. What I enjoy most about my role is the opportunity to meet and treat a wide range of people and conditions, and the crucial teamwork that underpins successful emergency care.
