About Me
As a cardiologist at NYU Langone Cardiology Associates, I am dedicated to advancing the field through clinical care, research, and education. Whether in the intensive care unit or through outpatient care, my goal is to deliver the most advanced treatments available.
I specialize in critical care cardiology and atherothrombosis, focusing on hemodynamic support and primary prevention. My research interests include evaluating the role of venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO) in critical care, exploring the use of echocardiography in cardiogenic shock, and studying gender disparities in bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in patients with cardiac arrest. Additionally, I investigate the effects of energy drinks, coffee, and caffeine on vascular and endothelial function.
Throughout my career, I have emphasized proactive healthcare engagement. My work centers on improving outcomes in critical care cardiology and atherothrombosis by using innovative techniques and therapies. This approach ensures that each patient receives the highest level of cardiovascular care.
My journey into medicine began with a passion for the dynamic nature of cardiology, where every patient encounter presents unique challenges and the opportunity to make a life-saving difference. This passion, coupled with my dedication to advancing the field through research and education, inspired me to pursue a career in cardiology. At NYU Langone, I collaborate with a team of experts to ensure the highest standard of comprehensive and coordinated care for my patients.
