About Me
It can be easy to take vision for granted, but people with eye conditions recognize just how much vision impacts everything we do. At my practice at the NYU Langone Eye Center, I am passionate about preserving and restoring sight in my patients.
Supported by cutting-edge tools for ophthalmic diagnosis and treatment, I specialize in treating diseases of the cornea, including Fuchs dystrophy, keratoconus, neurotrophic keratitis, infectious corneal ulcers, and ocular surface tumors, as well as cataracts and dry eye syndrome.
My surgical training includes innovative partial thickness corneal transplants using advanced procedures, including Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) and Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (DSAEK). I also perform full thickness corneal transplants, cataract surgery, and corneal crosslinking.
In addition to helping patients improve their vision, I am dedicated to advancing the field through research and by working closely with our ophthalmology residents in my role as the associate residency program director for the NYU Langone Department of Ophthalmology.
My approach to patient care is highly individualized. I deeply value the relationships I form with patients and take pride in understanding each patient’s goals. I am committed to working with my patients to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to meet their needs.
