I chose a career in medicine because I wanted to make a real difference in people’s lives while building meaningful, long-term relationships. Internal Medicine felt like the perfect fit because I'm able to provide care for patients facing a wide array of medical conditions, often with complex and interconnected issues. I enjoy the critical thinking needed to understand the full picture of a patient’s health and collaborate with them to develop personalized, thoughtful plans. Caring for the whole person—not just individual symptoms—helps me get to know my patients over time, focus on preventive care, help them stay healthy, and provide support in managing both acute concerns and chronic conditions.

Good care starts with listening, and every patient is different. My commitment comes from knowing that patients should feel heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions, even about things that might seem intimidating or unclear. I aim to meet patients where they are, explaining medical information in a way that makes sense and partnering with them in decision-making. Trust is something built over time, and I try to foster it by being honest, approachable, and consistent.

As an internal medicine physician, I provide care for adults managing conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disorders, high cholesterol, obesity, asthma, and other chronic conditions. I also focus on preventive care, routine screenings, and evaluating new or unexplained symptoms. Additionally, I have a special interest in health concerns that are significant for women across different stages of life, as well as endocrine-related conditions such as thyroid disorders, diabetes, metabolic issues, and hormonal imbalances. These areas require careful analysis and long-term management, and I enjoy working closely with patients to help them better understand their health and create customized treatment strategies.

One of my guiding principles is ensuring that medical advice fits into each patient’s unique life and priorities. Recommendations work best when they are realistic and actionable, so I take the time to build individualized care plans that patients can sustain long-term. Whether someone is coming in for a preventive visit, discussing a new concern, or managing multiple chronic conditions, I want them to feel they are not navigating their health alone—I am here as their partner.

During my training, I contributed to research centering on diabetes, blood sugar management, thyroid disorders, and hormonal imbalances related to pituitary conditions. This experience deepened my interest in endocrine disorders and reinforced the importance of evidence-based, individualized care. Translating complex research findings into meaningful, practical recommendations for patients is a priority in my approach to care.
