I was drawn to a career in mental health after witnessing how stigma and judgment can deepen suffering and create barriers to connection with ourselves and others. Therapy is a deeply vulnerable process, and I believe healing occurs when individuals feel safe, understood, and truly seen.

At NYU Langone Psychiatry Associates, I work with adults navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, emotion dysregulation, and the impacts of trauma. My work often involves supporting individuals who wish to explore their identities, feel stuck or unfulfilled in various aspects of their lives, face difficulties in relationships, or grapple with feelings of shame and overwhelm. I have a deep appreciation for how identities and cultural backgrounds shape one's sense of self, belonging, and lived experiences. I consider therapy a collaborative journey, with the ultimate goal of helping my patients feel more grounded and build lives that are authentic and fulfilling.

My approach is integrative, drawing from a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). For couples, I incorporate emotionally focused therapy (EFT). I provide care to both individuals and couples and am licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. To ensure holistic care, I frequently collaborate with other healthcare professionals within NYU Langone.
