Israa Soghier, MD

As an intensivist at NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn, I provide compassionate and individualized care to patients in the intensive care unit and on the critical care consult service. I believe good medical care starts with listening to patients and their families, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to the unique needs of the individual.

I specialize in critical care medicine, focusing on managing complex conditions in patients who are critically ill. With extensive experience in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine, I am committed to delivering the highest standard of care. My credentials include board certification in these specialties, and I have been practicing for more than a decade, which has honed my expertise in this demanding field.

Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in teaching medical students and residents at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. My work extends beyond clinical practice to include research. I have published several guidelines that assist other physicians in providing optimal care and influence health policy on a broader scale.
