As an urgent care physician at NYU Langone, I provide efficient, and comprehensive care to my patients. Urgent care medicine plays a crucial role in reducing congestion in hospital emergency departments, and ensuring patients receive timely follow-up care. With more than 15 years of experience in emergency and urgent care medicine, I am well-equipped to manage patients with a variety of acute conditions. I treat respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, soft tissue infections, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and gynecological infections. Additionally, I handle orthopedic injuries and pain, perform procedures like foreign body removals, incision and drainage of abscesses, laceration repairs, and fracture splinting. My board certification in emergency medicine underscores my expertise in handling both life-threatening and non-life-threatening conditions.

Throughout my career, I have focused on enhancing patient outcomes through proactive healthcare engagement. After transitioning to urgent care medicine at NYU Langone in 2018, I found the setting to be refreshing due to its combination of urgent processes and a more interpersonal patient experience. Our urgent care centers offer extensive diagnostic services, including X-rays, ultrasounds, and laboratory testing, to aid in the diagnosis of acute conditions. We also coordinate follow-up care with primary care physicians and specialists, ensuring a seamless healthcare experience for our patients.

My inspiration to pursue a career in medicine stems from a deep-seated compassion for others and a dedication to helping and healing members of the community.
