As an emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and efficient support during critical moments. I am driven by a desire to address complex issues with limited information, ensuring patients receive the care they need when they need it most.

My specialties include emergency medicine, medical education, simulation, and quality and safety improvement. I am particularly skilled in creating mastery learning courses and using simulation to enhance healthcare quality and safety. This focus stems from my commitment to proactive healthcare engagement and my dedication to improving patient outcomes.

Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in research and educational initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and safety of emergency care. My work integrates innovative simulation techniques to improve the training and preparedness of healthcare professionals. This approach not only enhances the skills of healthcare providers but also ensures a seamless and coordinated care experience for patients.

My journey into medicine began with my undergraduate studies in economics. I returned to New York for medical school at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where I developed a strong interest in medical education and simulation. I completed my residency in emergency medicine at Bellevue and a fellowship in simulation.

Currently, I serve as the program director for the emergency medicine simulation fellowship at NYU Langone, the in situ simulation site director at Tisch Hospital, and the director of the residency simulation elective. These roles allow me to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for my patients.
