Dana Lin, MD

As a radiologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing patient-centered care through advanced imaging techniques. I specialize in musculoskeletal imaging, focusing on the bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues. My subspecialty training allows me to diagnose injuries and conditions that affect movement and cause pain, helping patients receive the most effective treatments to restore or improve their quality of life.

Growing up as a dancer, I understand the importance of movement to quality of life, which has driven my focus on musculoskeletal imaging. My passion for radiology also stems from a personal experience during high school when my father was diagnosed with cancer. Witnessing the pivotal role that imaging played in his treatment journey inspired me to pursue a career in this field and has shaped my approach to patient care.

My work is supported by my active participation in research related to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and deep learning/artificial intelligence, aiming to enhance the MRI experience by reducing exam times while maintaining high-quality diagnostic images.
