Michelle H. Loy, MD

I am a board-certified lifestyle and integrative medicine physician. I specialize in women’s health and family care, with a background in pediatrics. I work with adult women and their family members who are seeking a holistic approach to their overall wellbeing and to their health concerns, such as cancer, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, fertility, perimenopause and menopause, stress, fatigue, insomnia, allergies, fibromyalgia, long COVID, bone health, brain health, metabolic health, neurodevelopmental conditions, autoimmune conditions, and overall immune health.

In my practice, I blend conventional medicine with evidence-based lifestyle modifications, including nutrition, acupuncture, and mind–body therapies. As director of the Griffin Healthspan and Vitality Center at Mignone Women’s Health Collaborative, my goal is to create clear, realistic care plans that fits naturally into patients’ daily lives and offer integrated, coordinated care for all stages of life. As a physician, wife, and mother of five, I understand the resilience and complexity of women's lives. I work to build trust with my patients by listening, honoring each person’s story, and offering clear, safe, and culturally attuned guidance. I strive to create a space where families feel understood, supported, and empowered.

I have authored several publications related to women’s health and currently serve as a co-investigator on a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for young women with breast cancer and women with metastatic breast cancer. I am also a principal investigator for a medical education pilot for integrative medicine in residency. My innovative research led to the first inpatient acupuncture pilot at Weill Cornell Medicine/New York Presbyterian, in conjunction with the liver transplant service.

I have been honored to hold leadership roles in many medical academies, boards, and networks, coordinating with academic clinicians, researchers, and educators in lifestyle medicine, integrative medicine, and whole-person health. These recognitions reflect my commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based care and to advancing approaches that help women and their families achieve long-term health and vitality while ensuring the next generation of physicians are well-trained to continue this type of care.
