About Me
As a pediatric emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone, I provide comprehensive and culturally sensitive care to children and their families. My work is deeply influenced by my passion for global health, cultural immersion, and languages, which I integrate into my practice every day. Growing up in a Haitian family, I have a personal connection to addressing healthcare disparities, and my experiences working in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Tanzania have only strengthened this commitment. I believe that understanding and respecting cultural differences is crucial in delivering effective healthcare, especially in a diverse city like New York.
I specialize in pediatric emergency medicine, with a focus on addressing health disparities and providing care to underserved populations. My linguistic skills in French and Spanish allow me to communicate effectively with a broad range of patients, ensuring that language barriers do not impede the quality of care. With years of experience in the field, I am well-equipped to handle a variety of emergency situations and am committed to providing the highest standard of care to my young patients.
Throughout my career, I have been involved in numerous initiatives aimed at improving healthcare access and outcomes for children in resource-limited settings. My work has taken me to various parts of the world, where I have had the opportunity to apply my clinical skills and knowledge in challenging environments. These experiences have not only enriched my professional life but have also reinforced my dedication to making a difference in the lives of children and their families.
My journey into medicine was inspired by my desire to bridge the gap in healthcare access and to make a tangible impact on the lives of those in need. I pursued my medical education with a focus on global health, and I am now committed to sharing my knowledge and experiences with the next generation of medical professionals. By fostering a culture of experiential learning and global awareness, I hope to inspire others to join me in the mission to improve health outcomes for children worldwide.
