Tracey J. Fein, MD

As a dedicated physician at NYU Langone’s Joan H. Tisch Center for Women’s Health, I am committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to women at every stage of life. My philosophy centers on the belief that everything and everyone matters, and that we can always improve something if we try hard enough to find the right solution. I am passionate about helping my patients achieve better health and wellbeing, and I feel privileged to be part of a team that shares this commitment.

I specialize in women’s health, focusing on the changes that occur from puberty through menopause and beyond. With over 25 years of experience, I have had the opportunity to care for women from diverse backgrounds and cultures, continually learning from my patients and colleagues. I am particularly interested in midlife health and the management of genitourinary syndrome of menopause, for which I am trained, experienced, and certified in vaginal laser treatments.

Throughout my career, I have emphasized proactive healthcare engagement, encouraging my patients to take an active role in their health. I believe in the importance of educating patients about their conditions and the steps they can take to improve their health. This approach not only helps in managing chronic conditions but also empowers patients to make informed decisions about their care.

My journey into medicine was fueled by a lifelong interest in science and a desire to help people. I strive to make the world a better place by assisting my patients and teaching them how to help themselves.
