As an obstetrician and gynecologist at NYU Langone, my approach to patient care is centered on empathy and understanding, treating every patient as if they were my own family member. I specialize in managing pregnancy-related issues and complications, including preterm labor, gestational diabetes, hypertension, and obstetric emergencies such as hemorrhage or fetal distress. Additionally, I provide postpartum care for new mothers and treat a range of gynecological conditions, such as ovarian cysts, abnormal bleeding, and ectopic pregnancies. With extensive experience in performing procedures like vaginal and cesarean deliveries, hysteroscopy, and operative laparoscopies, I am well-equipped to handle a variety of obstetric and gynecological needs. My role as a consultant for colleagues in managing emergencies further underscores my commitment to patient safety and quality care.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a fascination with the sciences and a desire to help others. Choosing obstetrics and gynecology allowed me to focus on women’s health and provide comprehensive care during pivotal moments in their lives, such as pregnancy and childbirth. The blend of preventative care and ongoing patient relationships is what I find most rewarding. As the medical director of labor and delivery, I oversee a team, ensuring high standards of safety and quality while prioritizing compassionate care. This teamwork enables us to create tailored care plans for each patient, enhancing their overall experience during childbirth.
