About Me
I received my bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from SUNY Downstate in 1999 and earned my master of philosophy in biology–neuroscience at the Graduate Center, CUNY, in 2021. My research focuses on the effects of electric stimulation and novel exercise paradigms on a neurologically impaired model, while my clinical interests lie in evaluating and treating infants, children, and adults with neurologic and orthopedic conditions and chronic pain. I have advanced certification in Precthl’s General Movement Assessment, Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), Scoliosis Specific Exercise (Schroth and SEAS), Pilates, and pelvic floor treatment.
I have worked in varied clinical settings including in patient’s homes, hospitals, schools, and outpatient facilities. I see patients ages 14 and older, and I speak Spanish.
