About Me
As a pediatric hospitalist at NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care for children. My passion for working with children stems from a deep affinity I have always felt towards them, and I find immense happiness and satisfaction in my daily interactions. In my role, I care for both healthy and sick children in the newborn nursery and pediatric floor, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.
I specialize in managing a wide range of pediatric conditions, including bronchiolitis, asthma exacerbations, pneumonia, cellulitis, and urinary tract infections. With extensive training and years of experience, I am committed to delivering the best care possible. I collaborate closely with subspecialists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated treatment. My role also involves being one of the first providers to evaluate many newborns, where I conduct thorough examinations and offer anticipatory guidance to new parents.
Throughout my career, I have focused on quality improvement and the development of clinical pathways to enhance patient care. My research activities are centered on these areas, reflecting my dedication to continuously improving the standards of care for our pediatric and newborn nursery patients. Additionally, I am passionate about education and actively teach residents, medical students, and physician assistant students from institutions such as NYU Grossman School of Medicine and New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine.
My journey into medicine was inspired by my love for children and a desire to give back to my community. As a native Long Islander, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the community I grew up in. My educational background and experiences have shaped my approach to care, emphasizing the importance of patient engagement, responsiveness, and fostering strong partnerships with families to ensure a positive patient experience.
