Zulmary Andino, DPT

As a physical therapist at Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Medical Associates in Florida, I specialize in restoring physical function in individuals with orthopedic dysfunction. I am an APTA certified geriatric specialist and am also certified by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). My clinical interests particularly lie in postural training, balance training, general conditioning and manual therapy.

My approach focuses on understanding patients’ unique needs and developing tailored treatment plans to help them achieve their health and wellness goals. I strive to empower my patients through education and active participation in their recovery process, with the goal to allow them to manage any future symptoms independently.

Throughout my career, I have focused on using innovative techniques to enhance patient outcomes. My experience in treating patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions has equipped me with the skills to address the unique challenges they face. I am committed to fostering strong partnerships with my patients, ensuring they feel supported and engaged throughout their rehabilitation journey.

I earned my doctor of physical therapy degree in 2007 from Stony Brook University in New York and have over 18 years of clinical experience. My passion for physical therapy was ignited by my desire to help individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life. This drive led me to pursue advanced training and certification in geriatrics, female pelvic health and the TPI, allowing me to provide specialized care to those with complex medical histories and those who want to improve their golf performance.
