I pursued a career in medicine driven by a profound desire to care for others and a fascination with the intellectual challenges of the field. Inspired by healthcare providers I encountered in my youth, I witnessed the transformative power of compassionate and competent medical care. I chose emergency medicine as my specialty because it offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where quick thinking and decisive action can profoundly impact patient outcomes. I find deep fulfillment in guiding patients through challenging moments and helping them recover.

During my residency in emergency medicine, I served as chief resident, a role that allowed me to mentor my peers and cultivate their passion for medicine. Throughout my career, I provided care to countless families in the emergency department and cherishes the positive feedback I receive from patients and their loved ones. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to delivering the highest standard of emergency care.

I treat patients of all ages, from neonates to the elderly, and addresses a broad spectrum of conditions. These range from minor injuries, such as lacerations and fractures, to life-threatening emergencies, including strokes, heart attacks, asthma exacerbations, and cardiac arrest. My extensive range of procedures includes laceration repair, intubation, chest tube placement, central venous catheterization, point-of-care ultrasonography, lumbar punctures, joint reductions, and advanced resuscitative techniques such as pericardiocentesis and transvenous pacing.

My team and I prioritize delivering rapid, comprehensive, and high-quality care. I work alongside a dedicated group of healthcare professionals committed to treating each patient with compassion and equality. My treatment philosophy encompasses the entirety of a patient’s medical, social, and familial context to tailor therapies that optimize benefits while minimizing risks. Being able to help patients navigate some of their most difficult days and witnessing their recovery brings me immense personal and professional fulfillment.
