Dylan Sperling, MD

As a cardiologist at NYU Cardiology Associates, I am devoted to advancing cardiovascular health by offering high-quality, compassionate care. My practice as a general cardiologist encompasses patients with a wide range of conditions, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and congestive heart failure.

My journey into medicine was ignited during my undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, which led me to earn my medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Building on my passion for healthcare, I completed my residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at The Mount Sinai Hospital, serving as chief fellow.

Having lived in New York almost all my life, I am deeply committed to serving the NYU Langone community and find immense joy in the city's vibrant diversity. My engagement in cardiology research continually enriches my practice, with publications on subjects such as echocardiography, structural imaging, and cardiotoxicity predictors after chemotherapy.

I was honored with the Top Investigator award by the American Society of Echocardiography for my research on echocardiography applications during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I am committed to lifelong learning and leadership, ensuring I remain abreast of the latest research and innovations within the field. A significant part of my focus is on preventive cardiology, guiding my patients in modifying risk factors and identifying cardiovascular disease at its earliest stages.

My meticulous and detail-oriented nature drives me to consistently go the extra mile for my patients. I prioritize listening, educating, and empowering them to understand their conditions and play an active role in their treatment plans.
