About Me
As a licensed psychologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to helping my patients navigate their emotional journeys and enhance their overall wellbeing. I believe in the transformative power of therapy and am committed to creating a warm, accessible environment where my patients feel heard and understood. My passion lies in helping individuals and couples overcome their challenges and reach their full potential.
My areas of expertise include the treatment of grief, addiction, mood and anxiety disorders, relationship difficulties, and sleep problems. I also have a special interest in working with LGBTQ+ populations. I take an integrated approach to treatment, utilizing both dynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions.
Additionally, I run two psychotherapy groups at the practice, one focused on substance use reduction and another that treats panic attacks. I am licensed to work virtually with patients located in New York, Connecticut, and Florida, ensuring accessibility and convenience.
Throughout my career, I have been steadfast in my commitment to proactive healthcare engagement. I strongly believe in the value of working with a treatment provider who not only listens carefully but also actively participates in the session. My work is centered on helping my patients find meaning and a set purpose and to identify what is holding them back from achieving their goals.
My journey into psychiatry was inspired by a desire to help people improve aspects of their lives and work towards a more rewarding future. I consider myself an existentialist at heart, viewing therapy as a space to explore life’s fundamental questions and challenges. As a part of the Faculty Group Practice at NYU Langone, I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for my patients. I am deeply committed to my patients, valuing them as individuals beyond their specific conditions or challenges.
