As a hospitalist physician at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to my patients. My personal experiences with frequent hospitalizations due to asthma as a child inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. I strive to offer the same level of care and empathy I received, ensuring that patients feel understood and well-cared for during their hospital stay. My role involves assessing and treating a wide range of disease processes, and I take pride in my ability to perform select diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with proficiency.

I specialize in managing the complexities of patients who are hospitalized, recognizing that patients have unique medical needs and stressors associated with their condition. With more than a decade of experience in the field, I am committed to creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's medical history. My goal is to communicate these plans clearly and concisely, ensuring that patients and their families are well-informed and comfortable with the care they receive.

Throughout my career, I have focused on the importance of a seamless transition from hospital to home. One of my most influential mentors taught me to view hospitalization and discharge as a “tee-up” for the patient’s continued health journey. I take this responsibility seriously, emphasizing clear discharge instructions, medication management, and coordination with outpatient providers to ensure no medical “loose ends” remain. My dedication to expediting safe discharges helps patients return to their pre-hospital lives as quickly and safely as possible.

My journey into medicine began with a deep-seated desire to help others, inspired by the care I received as a child. I am a proud native New Yorker, and it is a privilege to work at NYU Langone, leveraging its vast resources to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.
