As an emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to serving our community with the highest standards of care. Born and raised in New York, I discovered my passion for emergency medicine as a medical student in Brooklyn. It is a profound honor to work at NYU Langone, where I can give back to the community that shaped me.

My philosophy of care revolves around being on the frontlines, addressing complex and often novel health issues, and ensuring that every patient receives compassionate and comprehensive care. I specialize in emergency medicine, focusing on managing acute and chronic conditions that require immediate attention. With years of experience in the field, I have honed my skills in handling a wide range of medical emergencies.

My role as associate chief of the Bellevue Hospital Center Emergency Department allows me to collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, all committed to bridging gaps in care delivery and improving access for vulnerable populations. My training includes a fellowship in healthcare leadership and operations at NYU Langone, complemented by a master's degree from the NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. This unique combination of clinical and leadership training allows me to navigate the complexities of the healthcare landscape and lead change effectively.

My journey into medicine began with a desire to make a tangible difference in people's lives. Inspired by the dynamic and intense environment of the emergency department, I pursued a career in emergency medicine to be at the forefront of patient care. Teaching the next generation of clinicians at NYU Langone is incredibly fulfilling, and I am dedicated to maintaining a culture of exceptionalism in all aspects of patient care.
