As a gastroenterologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing patient–provider care through a collaborative approach. I believe the best outcomes are achieved when patients are actively involved in their treatment plans. My goal is to ensure that patients understand their conditions and the available treatment options, fostering a partnership that leads to the best possible care.

I specialize in managing patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, with a particular focus on the removal of precancerous and cancerous lesions, pancreatic and biliary tract diseases, and upper gastrointestinal motility disorders. My expertise extends to treating neuroendocrine tumors and using advanced, minimally invasive endoscopic procedures to address various gastrointestinal issues.

Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in several specialized endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), per oral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). I have presented my research at numerous conferences and have been involved in establishing programs that advance these techniques.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a childhood desire to help others, akin to a superhero. Although I realized that superpowers were not real, I found that medicine, technology, and empathy could serve as powerful tools to make a significant impact. My interest in gastroenterology was sparked by the diverse ways it allows me to help patients and the opportunity to innovate through endoscopic technology. This path has enabled me to provide the best minimally invasive treatments for patients with gastrointestinal diseases, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care.
