Alexandra Lew, MD

As a dedicated emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone and Bellevue Hospital, I am committed to delivering exceptional care to patients facing acute, life-threatening conditions, as well as managing patients with chronic illnesses and traumatic injuries. My clinical practice is deeply influenced by my experience in some of the nation's busiest and most high-pressure emergency departments, where I have honed a focused and empathetic approach to care during patients’ most vulnerable moments.

With a strong academic and clinical focus on trauma care, I am especially passionate about enhancing access to gynecologic care for women and championing physician wellness. My work is propelled by the belief that patients deserve timely, equitable, and holistic care, regardless of their background or circumstance. In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am dedicated to advancing the field of emergency medicine through mentorship and education.
