About Me
As an interventional pain management physician at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions. My approach emphasizes opioid-sparing and comprehensive care that’s tailored to each patient's unique pain experience, ensuring that every individual receives the most effective and compassionate treatment plan possible.
I specialize in managing chronic neck and low back pain, joint pain, nerve pain (neuropathy), migraines, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). With over a decade of experience in the field, I employ advanced interventional techniques such as epidural steroid injections, facet joint/medial branch injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and botulinum toxin (Botox) injections. My extensive training in anesthesiology and pain management allows me to use fluoroscopy, which is a type of X-ray technology, and ultrasound guidance to enhance the precision and effectiveness of these treatments.
Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement, collaborating closely with specialists in neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), and rheumatology. This collaborative approach ensures that my patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
I pursued my medical education with a focus on anesthesiology and pain management driven by the impact that effective pain management can have on a person's life.
