About Me
As an emergency medicine and critical care physician at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing patient-centered care, especially in situations requiring fast, decisive action. My dual training in emergency medicine and critical care allows me to manage patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, providing precise, individualized care.
With years of experience, I am committed to ensuring patients receive the right diagnosis and treatment plan, particularly during critical moments. My commitment to medicine is deeply rooted in a desire to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives, a passion inspired by my mother’s career in healthcare. At NYU Langone, I am privileged to work alongside a dedicated team in both the emergency department and the medical intensive care unit, ensuring comprehensive care, from resuscitative efforts to intensive monitoring.
My work during the COVID-19 pandemic was pivotal in developing my clinical skills and reinforcing my dedication to creating an environment in which patients and families feel supported and informed.
My medical education and career began at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where I entered a six-year medical program at age 18. Graduating as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, a national medical honor society, I developed a foundation rooted in both academic excellence and compassionate care. My residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist and a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering further honed my skills in intensive patient management and mentorship, allowing me to guide residents and fellows in both technical skills and a compassionate approach to medicine.
I am proud to contribute to NYU Langone’s emergency and critical care community, helping to develop the next generation of physician leaders.
