Dr. Deshpande is a pulmonary and critical care physician at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, specializing in complex pulmonary conditions and critical care. He attends the intensive care unit, step-down unit, and pulmonary consult service, providing expert care in managing critically ill patients and complex pulmonary cases.
He is particularly passionate about advancing patient care through hands-on medical education, with expertise in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), critical care medicine, medical physics, and mathematical biology, fostering the development of future healthcare professionals.
His research interests include ML/AI applications in healthcare, and as a General Program Chair of the Machine Learning for Healthcare (MLHC) conference, he is at the forefront of exploring how these technologies can revolutionize medical care.
