As an attending physician at NYU Langone and a clinical assistant professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate and personalized care in emergency medicine.

The dynamic and unpredictable nature of this field allows me to offer immediate, life-saving care to patients during their most vulnerable moments. My role spans multiple NYU Langone Emergency Medicine sites, including NYU Langone's Tisch Hospital Emergency Department, NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn Emergency Department, Cobble Hill Emergency Department, and Virtual Urgent Care.

I specialize in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), an innovative diagnostic tool that enhances the accuracy and efficiency of diagnoses and procedures by allowing me to perform ultrasound scans at the bedside. I have honed my skills in this area, ensuring that patients receive timely and precise care. My credentials include board certification in emergency medicine and advanced training in ultrasound techniques.

Throughout my career, I have focused on integrating bedside ultrasound into clinical emergency medicine and education. As the ultrasound division director and advanced emergency medicine ultrasound fellowship director at NYU Langone, I mentor and collaborate with faculty, fellows, residents, students, advanced care providers, and nursing staff. Together, we have conducted numerous research projects aimed at improving the quality, efficiency, and teaching of ultrasound in emergency care. Our work has been presented at national and regional conferences, showcasing our dedication to advancing the field and improving patient outcomes.

My journey into medicine began with a profound desire to make a tangible difference in people's lives. Inspired by my childhood pediatrician, I pursued a career in medicine to combine my passion for science with my commitment to helping others. Emergency medicine captivated me due to its high-pressure environment and the opportunity to provide immediate care. Through continuous education, research, and patient advocacy, I strive to make a lasting impact on the field of emergency medicine and the lives of the patients we serve.
