Robert A. Da Silva, MD

As a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at NYU Langone Urgent Care, I am committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients with a wide range of urgent medical needs.

Board-certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics, I have been practicing in urgent care since joining NYU Langone in 2017. In this role, I diagnose and manage a broad range of acute medical conditions and perform procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, and orthopedic splinting, etc.

With over 20 years of diverse clinical experience, I have worked in urgent care, primary care, and academic medicine, caring for a wide range of patient populations—including students at Rutgers University, employees and families of New York City’s hotel workers’ union, and underserved communities in Harlem.

In addition to my clinical work, I previously served as a faculty member at New York Medical College, where I contributed to training future physicians through hands-on teaching and clinical instruction.

I earned my medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 1996 and completed a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at St. Vincent’s Hospital, gaining comprehensive training in both specialties.
