As a pediatric emergency medicine specialist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care in high-stress situations. My passion for helping others and fascination with the medical field led me to this specialty, where I can make a significant impact on young patients’ lives. I find immense satisfaction in stabilizing critically ill children and witnessing the relief on their parents’ faces.

I specialize in treating a wide range of conditions, from minor injuries like cuts and bruises to critical issues such as respiratory distress and severe allergic reactions. With extensive training and years of experience, I perform various procedures specific to pediatric emergency care, including intubations, wound suturing, and fracture management. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is performing laceration repairs for children, as it allows me to ease their fears and provide comfort during a challenging time.

As the co-chair of the Committee for Professional Health and Well Being at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine, I work on improving clinician wellness, which ultimately leads to better patient outcomes. Additionally, as the director for engagement for the ED providers in my department, I lead local projects to enhance the work experience in the emergency department. I also co-lead the education on pediatric emergency medicine for emergency room residents, ensuring the next generation of physicians is well-prepared to provide exceptional care.

My journey into medicine began with a deep-seated desire to help others and a fascination with the medical field. A memorable experience during my training, where I treated a young child with a severe asthma attack, solidified my commitment to pediatric emergency medicine. The gratitude expressed by the child’s parents and the child's quick recovery reinforced my passion for this specialty and the importance of compassionate, family-centered care.
