About Me
As a consultation-liaison psychiatrist at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to providing empathetic care that prioritizes wellness. My passion for mental health and extensive experience in various settings equip me to offer a comprehensive range of treatments. I believe in the power of collaboration and education, and I am dedicated to fostering a strong partnership with my patients to ensure a positive and effective treatment experience.
My specialty lies in the psychiatric treatment of patients with medical complexities, a skill I honed during my fellowship training in consultation-liaison psychiatry. I also provide treatment for patients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, traumatic experiences, and substance use disorders.
Throughout my career, I have contributed to scholarly works at academic conferences, highlighting unique patient presentations, novel treatment considerations, and innovations in medical student education. My research, including a co-authored poster on buprenorphine microinduction for opioid use disorder, was awarded best poster at the 2022 Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry conference, which reflects my dedication to improving patient care through innovative treatments.
As a part of NYU Langone, I collaborate with a team of professionals, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for my patients. My journey into medicine was inspired by my desire to offer patients a broader range of treatments in mental health. My passion for high-quality patient care, leadership in medicine, and strengths in education were recognized during my psychiatry residency when I was elected chief resident and awarded resident teacher of the year.
