As a dedicated nurse practitioner at NYU Langone, I am committed to providing compassionate patient care with a focus on wellness and proactive health management. My journey into nursing began in high school when my uncle suffered a major heart attack. This experience, coupled with the exceptional care provided by a nurse named Dale, inspired me to pursue a career in cardiology. Today, I am proud to be part of a team that prioritizes patient education, collaboration, and comprehensive care.

I specialize in managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including abnormal heart rhythms, atrial fibrillation, atherosclerosis, carotid artery disease, and heart disease. With over a decade of experience, I have honed my skills in adult gerontological acute care, particularly in the intensive care unit, where I care for patients after cardiac surgery, including those who have had heart and lung transplants.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to fostering strong partnerships with my patients and their families. I believe in the importance of a team-based healthcare approach, where each discipline uniquely contributes to best practices. Nurse practitioners play a pivotal role in bridging gaps between patients, collaborating physicians, and other healthcare providers. My colleague, John J. Santucci, MD, and I work closely to ensure coordinated care for all our patients, emphasizing the value of interdisciplinary collaboration.

My educational journey began at Molloy College, where I completed the William Randolph Hearst Critical Care Nursing Fellowship. I then pursued my master’s degree at Hofstra University, specializing in adult gerontological acute care. My fascination with the heart and its intricate workings has driven my career, and I am continually inspired by the improvements I see in my patients' quality of life. The most fulfilling aspect of my job is witnessing patients recover from their most critical moments and knowing I played a part in their journey to better health.
