As an abdominal radiologist at NYU Langone, I provide patient-centered care through advanced imaging techniques. My passion for the sciences, particularly physics, led me to pursue an undergraduate degree in physics at Johns Hopkins University. During my medical school clinical rotations, I discovered a deep interest in radiology, drawn by the intellectual challenge of diagnosing complex conditions through imaging.

I specialize in abdominal radiology, focusing on diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the liver, pancreas, and gastrointestinal tract. With more than a decade of experience, I have honed my skills in advanced imaging modalities, including artificial intelligence-based magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequence development. My background in physics and continuous involvement in pioneering research allow me to stay at the forefront of technological advancements, ensuring that my patients receive the most accurate and effective diagnostic care.

Throughout my career, I have been involved in various research projects aimed at improving imaging techniques and patient outcomes. My work includes testing accelerated T2-weighted MRI and diffusion-weighted MRI of the liver using deep learning-based image reconstruction. These innovations have significantly enhanced image quality and lesion detection, directly benefiting patient care. I am proud to be part of a team that consistently pushes the boundaries of radiology, contributing to advancing the specialty.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a natural curiosity and a desire to make a meaningful impact on patient care. The intellectual stimulation and continuous learning opportunities in radiology keep me motivated. I am honored to have received several awards, including the Editor's Certificate of Excellence from the Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography and the Radiological Society of North America Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research award.
