Nessy Dahan, MD

As a pediatric emergency physician at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care for children and adolescents facing acute illnesses and injuries. I have a particular passion for caring for critically ill patients and supporting families during challenging moments through clear communication, empathy, and evidence-based medicine.

I completed advanced fellowship training in emergency ultrasound. I use point-of-care ultrasound to provide real-time diagnostic information at the bedside, expediting decision-making and reducing the need for additional testing. My academic and clinical work focuses on innovative applications of ultrasound in pediatric emergency medicine to improve diagnostic accuracy, enhance procedural safety, and optimize patient outcomes.

In addition to clinical work, I am committed to medical education and enjoy teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. My scholarly interests include pediatric emergency ultrasound, medical education, and incorporating emerging technologies into emergency care. Through my dedication to education, research, and mentorship, I work to advance the field and prepare the next generation of pediatric emergency physicians.
