About Me
As an attending physician in the Division of Neonatology at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, I am dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care. My approach emphasizes family-centered care, ensuring that parents and families are integral to the treatment process. Working alongside a skilled team of neonatologists and advanced care practitioners, we strive for the best possible outcomes for our patients.
I specialize in caring for newborns, particularly those born prematurely or with health issues. My expertise includes managing neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS), in which I have conducted research comparing the traditional Finnegan score with a newer NAS scoring tool. Additionally, I am passionate about the use of point-of-care ultrasound in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), which allows for rapid evaluation and informed decision-making regarding neonatal care.
Throughout my career, I have focused on integrating innovative methodologies into my practice. My research interests and clinical skills are geared towards improving the health and wellbeing of our most vulnerable patients. By leveraging the latest advances in neonatal care, I aim to enhance the quality of life for both infants and their families.
My journey into neonatology began with a pediatric residency at Flushing Hospital, followed by a fellowship in neonatal–perinatal medicine at Westchester Medical Center. I was drawn to this field because it offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of newborns. My commitment to this specialty is driven by a desire to support and nurture these fragile lives from their very first moments.
