About Me
As a clinical psychologist at the Child Study Center, part of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to providing mental healthcare that prioritizes wellness and holistic support. My passion lies in helping individuals and families navigate their mental health journeys with empathy and precision, ensuring they receive the highest quality care tailored to their unique needs.
I specialize in individual therapy, group programs, parent training, couples therapy, and family therapy, with a particular focus on autism assessment and intervention. With extensive experience in these areas, I am dedicated to creating comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that integrate scientifically supported practices. My therapeutic approach incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness and mindful parenting, emotion focused therapy (EFT), and interpersonal therapy (IPT), all aimed at reducing symptoms and improving overall mental health and daily functioning.
Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in developing and expanding group programs within the Autism Service, empowering not only individuals with autism but also their families. As a certified Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP) therapist, agency supervisor, and trainer, I use a professional framework that allows clinicians to track progress and refine treatment plans using real-time data. This ensures that patients receive the most effective care possible. My role at the Evidence-Based Treatment Dissemination Center enables me to train large groups of mental health professionals across New York State in MAP practices, enhancing the quality of care statewide.
My journey into clinical psychology was driven by a profound desire to make a difference in the lives of youth and families. I am fortunate to provide this care daily at the Child Study Center, where I also train additional clinicians, fostering a community of excellence and empathy.
