About Me
As a psychiatrist at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to fostering mental health and wellbeing. I find immense satisfaction in helping people navigate their mental health challenges and working collaboratively with a dedicated treatment team. My empathetic nature and patience allow me to build deep connections with my patients, making each interaction meaningful and rewarding. Psychiatry is a challenging yet profoundly rewarding field. I am passionate about listening to my patients’ experiences, establishing accurate diagnoses, and helping them manage their mental health.
I specialize in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders. With significant experience in emergency departments, inpatient psychiatry, and consultation–liaison services, I am well-equipped to handle complex cases. My approach is to emphasize trust, foster insight, and ensure patients feel safe and understood. I am committed to regularly attending continuing medical education courses and staying updated with the latest assessment tools, medications, and psychotherapies.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated closely with various medical specialties to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatments. I believe in the importance of a coordinated care approach, ensuring that my patients receive comprehensive support when needed. This collaborative spirit is a cornerstone of my practice, and I am always open to feedback to enhance patient care.
I pursued my medical education with a focus on mental health, driven by the belief that effective treatment can significantly improve a person’s wellbeing and quality of life. At NYU Langone, I am proud to be part of a team that shares my commitment to compassionate care. I want my patients to know help is always available, no matter how long they have been experiencing symptoms, and that there is hope for a better quality of life through effective treatment.
