My path to Medicine started with my work as a writer. I have always been driven to hear people’s personal stories and understand who they are as human beings. This curiosity naturally led me to General Internal Medicine, a practice that takes the whole person into consideration. As a general internist at NYU Langone, I strive every day to deliver compassionate and comprehensive care to every patient. I specialize in evidence-based chronic disease management of conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity, heart disease, menopause, and osteoporosis, among many others. I am equally committed to preventive medicine and working to empower my patients to lead healthier lives through lifestyle changes. It’s important to me that I understand each patient’s unique story and build long-term, meaningful relationships with my patients, ensuring they receive personalized, evidence-based care that promotes overall wellness. During my training, I was honored as Intern of the Year and Resident of the Year and recognized by the Gold Humanism Honor Society. These accolades reflect my commitment to medical excellence and compassionate care.

In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in medical education. As the Clinic Site Director for the Residency Program, and as the Director of Medical Student Engagement and the Medical Student Summer Research Fellowship Program, I mentor future doctors, helping them develop into empathetic, skilled physicians. I also work to improve medical training and residency programs, focusing on both quality of care and the well-being of trainees. My role as a medical educator allows me to stay at the forefront of medical advancements, ensuring that my patients benefit from the most up-to-date treatments and practices. This commitment to continuous learning and patient-centered care is a cornerstone of my practice.
