Jessica L. Harmon, MD, PhD

As an emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone, I treat patients of all ages who come into the emergency department with acute conditions. The dynamic environment of the emergency department allows me to meet a diverse range of patients and address various medical issues, which is incredibly fulfilling.

My journey into medicine began with a deep-seated belief in the fundamental right to medical care. This conviction led me to pursue a career in emergency medicine, where I could develop the skills needed to help anyone, anywhere. My educational background includes a medical degree and a PhD, which have provided me with a robust foundation in both clinical practice and medical research.

Every day in the emergency department is different, and I am continually inspired by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of my patients.
