It is my life’s great joy to share my medical skills and knowledge in critical health situations.  As an emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone, I am afforded this extraordinary opportunity each day.

I believe the best physicians are those who ensure their patients feel seen and heard. The trust patients instill in me as their doctor is a great honor, and one I do not take lightly. It is important to me to connect with patients on a level beyond the particular health emergency that brings them to the emergency room.

I also work hard to engage medical trainees in the clinical environment to ensure they are honing the medical, communication, and teamwork skills they will need to thrive as future physicians.

Despite the fast-paced nature of the emergency room, as an NYU physician I am committed to cultivating a sense of trust, connection, and safety with my patients and team.
