Zoe Grabinski, MD

As a pediatric emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone, I have extensive experience in leading major medical and trauma resuscitations, guiding the care of the most medically complex patients, and expertise in advanced procedures and point of care ultrasound. My practice focuses on bringing compassion, empathy, and kindness to the care of my patients, their families, and to the manner in which I lead my team of providers on every shift.

My role in clinical operations and scholarship is focused in quality and patient safety. I am honored to have completed the Kenneth and JoAnn G. Wellner Fellowship in Emergency Department Safety and Quality, which has helped to further fortify my foundational knowledge in the theory and practice of this specialty. I promote standardization of care by leveraging informatics, clinical pathways, simulation, and interdisciplinary education.

The heart of my work centers on improving the care of vulnerable populations: survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, child abuse, and elder abuse. I ensure a layer of health equity to all initiatives I pursue and have worked to advance our methodologies in both studying and addressing disparities in care.
