As a board-certified plastic surgeon at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for my patients through precise and compassionate care. The transformative nature of my work brings me immense satisfaction, and I am committed to addressing both aesthetic and functional needs.

My roles as the director of microsurgery and the director of surgical wound care at NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island further highlight my commitment to providing top-tier care.

Throughout my career, I have emphasized proactive engagement with healthcare, fostering strong partnerships with my patients, and ensuring a positive patient experience. I am honored to have been recognized by Castle Connolly’s “Top Doctors” series for the New York Metro Area and featured multiple times as one of New York Magazine’s “Best Doctors in New York” and Newsday’s “Top Doctors” issue.

Beyond the operating room, I am actively involved in medical volunteerism, performing reconstructive surgery and lecturing on plastic surgery in numerous developing countries.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a deep-seated desire to make a tangible difference in my patients’ lives. I received my medical degree from Yale University and completed both my residency in general surgery and fellowship in plastic surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by specialty training in cancer reconstruction and cosmetic surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I then pursued the prestigious Webster Fellowship in Pediatric Plastic Surgery and an additional fellowship in burn and accident reconstruction with Harvard University at the Shriners Children’s Hospital.

My affiliation with NYU Langone allows me to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for my patients.
