Early in my medical training, I witnessed the profound "circle of life" during a 28-hour shift: I began by assisting with a high-risk C-section and concluded it with the heartbreaking loss of a patient during a Code Blue. This experience highlighted the immense responsibility physicians carry—not only to deliver exceptional care but to guide patients and their families through life's most significant and challenging moments.

My journey into cardiology was sparked by a deeply personal experience when my grandfather was hospitalized. I was inspired by the remarkable composure, transparency, and compassion exhibited by the cardiologist who cared for him. These qualities resonated deeply with me and became attributes I aspired to emulate throughout my career. Since then, I've immersed myself in the intricacies of the heart, dedicating my efforts to cardiology research. What captivates me about this specialty—and continues to fuel my passion—is the dynamic blend of critical decision-making with the development of long-term, trusting relationships that profoundly impact patients' lives.

I am driven by the conviction that every patient deserves excellent medical care coupled with compassion and honesty. Building trust is imperative, and I achieve this by being attentively present: I listen keenly, explain conditions and treatments in understandable terms, and ensure patients and families feel a constant sense of support. In cardiology, the power of calm reassurance is vital—it can literally help calm the heart.

In my practice at NYU Langone Ambulatory Care in Garden City, I specialize in the full spectrum of cardiology, addressing acute cardiac emergencies like arrhythmias, myocardial infarction, and heart failure, alongside managing chronic cardiovascular conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, and valvular disorders.
